UPCOMING: Youth Advocacy & Systems Empowerment
World Youth Alliance Africa is hosting a three-week online advocacy program designed to equip 50 youth leaders with the skills and knowledge to champion human rights, human dignity and drive policy reforms.
Project highlights:
- Expert-led Presentations: Sessions on human rights treaties, enforcement mechanisms, and AU institutional engagement.
- AU model simulation
- Interactive Debates – Thought-provoking discussions on policy
- Case Study Analysis – Examination of policy documents in Kenya and their implications for policy and governance
- Youth Advocacy Labs – Hands-on workshops on strategy development, coalition building and practical advocacy planning.
- Policy language exercises with technical working groups
