The international solidarity forum was an absolutely amazing experience for me.
From the speaker sessions to meeting the other participants to the discussions to the city tours,
the ISF is an opportunity to learn valuable lessons on critical topics affecting young people and
the world today while making new friends and creating lasting memories at the same time.
Young people are always told that they are ‘the future’ and that they ‘have to participate in global
affairs’ , but the ISF doesn’t just tell you, it also allows for you to put the words in practice and
participate intentionally be it locally, nationally, regionally or globally.
A highlight from this year’s ISF on Gender Ideology was the RHRI crash course with Dr. Pilar
Vigil on Gender ideology , I found myself unlearning, learning and relearning during the
sessions, truly a life changing experience.
